Bookings are taken on a first come basis and are only confirmed on receipt of a completed hire form together with the respective hire / deposit. We will advise if a room is free when an enquiry is made but we will not hold the room. If a booking is cancelled the hire / deposit is returnable proving a minimum of 4 weeks’ notice is given other than a Saturday Night Wedding Celebration in the Concert Room which is non-returnable once the booking is taken.

Deposits are returnable after the event has taken place providing the room hired is left in an acceptable condition and no additional cleaning is required – our Club Steward / Stewardess makes that decision and their decision is final.

 

Catering – any requirements should be organised with our Club Steward / Stewardess.

 

As part of our Member Benefits a Member may book on behalf of others providing they are a genuine part of hosting the event and will be present on the night to take responsibility for the event as outlined in the above paragraph.

CONDITIONS

 

We do not take bookings for 18th Birthday Parties or Foam Parties in the Concert Room and we ask party members not to use confetti or glitter whilst on the premises.

 

Any room decoration should be agreed in advance with our Club Steward – the use of drawing pins on the walls and window frames in the conservatory is prohibited and celotape type products are banned in all hire rooms.

 

Only drinks bought on the premises can be consumed on the premises with the exception of Baby Milk.

 

Club Patrons may require access via the Conservatory to the garden and smoking area.

 

Children under the age of 18 are allowed to attend private functions within the hours the rooms are hired but we do expect younger children are accompanied when outside of the function room, especially when going to the toilets. Please read our Club Notice – Children.

 

Smoking – a Smoking Shelter is provided in the garden area. Guests who are not familiar with our Club sometime congregate outside of the front entrance to smoke even though there are clear No Smoking Notices displayed. If brought to your attention you will be expected to ask your guests to move. Please read our Club Notice – No Smoking.

 

Even when accompanied no one under the age of 18 is allowed to play the Lotto Ticket Machine – this is a legal condition.
